The Night Sky

On a moonlit horizon The far silhouettes of fishing boats Lining the star studded sky A gentle breeze blowing wild As waves smother the shores The moon crescent romantically inclined Laying on my beloved’s lap Staring at the starry sky The twinkle in her eye One with the glittering night sky The whisperings of sweet nothings Make music with the rustling palms Her tender loving care reserved for me The fisher folk they return ecstatic As I awake with the sands by my side
