The end is nigh

Banished to intellectual sobriety The mark on the world indelible Triumphant at every crossword Collecting lives of twisted souls Judgment day eagerly waits To a symphony of destruction The shattered hearts of pious souls Of lives they led regretting Pearly gates of heaven So precariously laden The god of light has been traveling The coup for it a vindication sign The books all predictably distorted The majority forever undermined The gods have played to democracy The anarchist regime has died

Singapore by night

Late past midnight Beer can by the side Fermenting the thoughts inside Sleepless Singapore style Day and night one like Assigning different meanings to life Time bids goodbye Emotions to hide Memories the unfaithful bride Jazz strains played mild Dim lights apartment wide Soothes the soul lay inside All poetry no rhyme Independent lonesome guy Kissing the last cigarette goodbye Weary looking eyes Dream a pleasant sight Awaken to the morning light An encore for life Going through the same old plight Still shamelessly awaits a new midnight

Strange Calm

Strange this calm Of forsaken solitude Drought ridden eyes No voices here A multitude of joys In memories remembered Smiles and laughter Now seldom linger Gazing they find In objects new identities The bathroom slip-ons So strangely abandoned Echoes still manifest Trapped within walls The voice long gone Lost to endless slumber Loss or gain The argument will continue When in death They do depart!

Enigma

As I await To hear the words That I want to hear To emanate from her lips My heart In eager anticipation Fondles the feeling Of her love to me Tis’ was it The feelings in her voice Saying so much Without uttering words A passion Deep seated it was That both felt Yet conceded never Funny it is This thing called love That everyone seeks Whilst some cherish Yet for some It still remains An enigma That just refuses to reveal

Disconnected

Tryst with myself Fight for survival An endless maze of inconsequence So utterly disheveled A smart decoction Of good and bad All and sundry So amazingly disfigured Summoning the forces For their precious gaze On this blessed maggot So artistically dismembered The words and verses In unearthly rhyme The poetry so far So classically disconnected

This one’s for you

This one’s for you my love For the moments that you gave me For the love that we cherished For the memories that’ll remain Be with me forever I would certainly wish In times both good and bad I’d be there, I promise You will always be the only one No matter what comes my way My love will be dedicated to you Every night and Every day Love is not about promises I know Words can never say what we share May these feelings remain I solemnly pray That you and me may depart together one day
