As the train leaves the platform A stage in life it reminds me Some alight to go away Some enter to go somewhere A new platform arrives and The same sequence repeats Some are with you longer Some are there shorter The stations seem like time Where each to a moment akin A time that is still Just passing along am I Eventually your destination arrives And you too join the bandwagon Of people, who will alight. Life’s just a train journey Where none remain forever
